Coopers Beach in the stunning Doubtless Bay is of the safest beaches in the Far North. Coopers Beach is two.5 km (one.6 miles), loaded with coastal Pohutukawa trees strewn across the shore-line offering shelter amongst its red-emblazoned flowers. This family-friendly beach is ideal for picnicking, swimming in its safe waters, walking, walking or strolling along, and lazing on the safe uncrowded sandy beach.
Stroll to the Taumarumaru Reserve (22ha) and enjoy views of Doubtless Bay with over 70 km (43.5 miles) of un-spoilt Pacific Ocean shoreline and warm a sub-tropical climate.
The stunning Anawhata Beach is situated in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park (Te Wao Nui a Tiriwa, The Great Forest of Tiriwa), Auckland. The Waitakere’s are15.5 miles(25km) from North to South. Anawhata Beach has a spectacular beach that can just be accessed by foot, making Anawhata Beach far fewer populated than the other more famous beaches in the Waitakere’s.
Keddle House, build in the 1930’s is located along the beach track to Anawhata Beach. The placed gardens were grown on the sudden cliffs and garden flees by the original possessors where many of these plants can still be found there nowadays.
Five minutes drive from Raglan and situated between Mount Karioi and the ocean This wonderful Whale Bay beach would make you feel that you are being looked after by Mother Nature. The beach is a wonderfully quiet and environmentally minded coastal community.
The beach is surrounded with bushes and the idyllic white sand that leaves you totally surprised and wanting to be there forever. The beach is known for it’s surfs. To the left hand side is a favorite spot for surfers. This is an amazing place to learn how to ride the waves. There are also surf schools; that would help you learn the art faster. Sadly, this place is not recommended for beginner surfers or people who want to learn how to start surfing.
Wainui, is the most picture perfect beach. It’s located in the city of Gisborne; known as the world’s first city to view sun-rise; which makes it the perfect place on earth to watch sun-rise. Gisborne- is known for it’s white sand and Wainui beach, Chardonnays Wine that’s award-winning and it’s glorious golden sunrises. According to the locals, the beach could be enjoyed starting with the sunrise, the wine and the beach.
